Woodbury, NJ – Paul E. Blight, 52, of Williamstown, was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree possession of child sexual abuse material on Thursday, Prosecutor Andrew B. Johns announced.
According to documents filed in this case: The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about an individual uploading filed of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). An investigation led to the execution of a search warrant at Blight’s residence where several electronic devices allegedly belonging to Blight were found. Forensic analysis of the devices found they contained 33,956 images and 1,018 videos of CSAM.
Blight was arrested Thursday and released on a complaint summons. He is expected to appear in court on May 21, 2026.
The maximum term of incarceration for this charge is 10 years in state prison.
Prosecutor Johns credited the office’s High Tech Crimes Unit for the investigation that led to Blight’s arrest. Prosecutor Johns also thanked the Monroe Township Police Department and the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office Tactical Operations Team for their assistance in the investigation.
The charges contained in the complaint/indictment are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
