The Burlington County Farmers Market’s regular season of weekly Saturday markets will kick off on May 9 with the traditional Opening Day and Spring Garden Market at the Burlington County Agricultural Center.
One of the nation’s favorite farmers markets is back.
The Burlington County Farmers Market returned from its winter hiatus on March 14 for the first of four preseason market days in March and April.
“The Burlington County Farmers Market was crowned one of the nation’s best in 2025 and we are excited about its long-anticipated return this year,” said Burlington County Commissioner Director Felicia Hopson. “The special March and April farm markets will feature many of the outstanding farms, food vendors and artists who have helped make the market a must visit destination and one of the best of its kind in the entire state.”
State Sen. Troy Singleton is among the regular shoppers eagerly awaiting the new season.
“Shopping at the Burlington County Farmers Market is one of my favorite weekend activities,” Singleton said. “The market deserves all the recognition and accolades it has received, and I am looking forward to the early start to the 2026 season.”
The Burlington County Farmers Market will have additional preseason days on March 28, April 11 and April 25.
The market’s regular season of weekly Saturday markets will kick off on May 9 with the traditional Opening Day and Spring Garden Market from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Traditionally, one of the biggest market days of the year, this year’s Opening Day will also feature a special celebration marking the start of the farmers market’s 20th season.
Subsequent farmers markets will be held every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. rain or shine through November 14. There will also be several special theme days throughout the year and the annual holiday market in December.
