Adult yarn group: 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Join other knitters and crocheters to work on a current project and learn from others.
Intro to Excel: For ages 18 years and up. 2 to 4 p.m. Will include Alternatives to Excel, as well as how to set up and maintain a personal home budget.
Thursday, Feb. 19
Marlton Senior Citizen Club: Ages 55 years and up. 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 535 East Main St. All seniors are welcome to attend meetings every first and third Thursday of the month at the Gibson House Community Center. Call (516) 729 3014 for more information. No registration required.
Yoga for teens: Ages 13 to 18 years. 6 to 7 p.m. Participants will combine a yoga flow with poses and breathing techniques to help improve physical and mental health. The beginner class will center on strength and flexibility.
Friday, Feb. 20
Baby time: For babies and toddlers. 10:30 to 11 a.m. An interactive event that includes stories, rhymes, movement and more. Caregivers are encouraged to participate.
Super Awesome Sing-Along: For ages 3 to 9 years. 2 to 2:45 p.m. Young residents are invited to join Key of Awesome Music for a sing-along with popular tunes like “Wheels on the Bus” and “Old McDonald,” plus original songs.
Monday, Feb. 23
Yoga for little ones: Ages 3 to 5 years. 10:30 to 11 a.m. Residents are invited to join the library staff for a children’s yoga class that will incude child-friendly poses, breathing techniques and relaxation exercises. Presented by Jennifer Penz of Small Wonders Yoga.
Cozy crochet: Ages 13 to 16. 5 to 6 p.m. Residents can bring a current project or start a new one from the library’s pattern selection. Beginners are welcome.
Tuesday, Feb. 24
Community and conversation: For adults. 2 to 4 p.m. An afternoon of conversation and community. This month will iinclude a book chat and coloring. The library will provide coloring books, pencils and markers.
