An auditorium filled with family, colleagues and friends turned out to support the township school district’s 2025-’26 Teachers and Educational Services Professionals of the Year.

The board of education acknowledged the honorees’ numerous individual and collective accolades and contributions to the school community at a public board work session on Jan. 20 at the Play House at the high school.

The honorees included:

2025-’26 Teachers of the Year

Preschool: Brooke Barbara

Bells Elementary School: Jennifer Natale, grade four

Birches Elementary: Allison Borowiec, interventionist

Hurffville Elementary: Staci McCauley, grade two

Thomas Jefferson Elementary: Kristen DiCastelnuovo, grade one, special education

Wedgwood Elementary: Elizabeth Johnson, kindergarten

Whitman Elementary: Courtney Stumpf, art teacher

Bunker Hill Middle School: Maria Meo, special education

Chestnut Ridge Middle School: Heather Halicks, grade six, English/Language Arts

Orchard Valley Middle: Janine Navarra, special education

Washington Township High School: Alexandria Ackley, business education; Kevin Parker, English

Elementary level: Stephanie Martucci, dean of students; Kelly Chropka, Birches Elementary counselor

Middle level: Jenny Kerfoot, Bunker Hill Middle, school counselor

High-school level: Frances Mulvihill, counselor
