EDAC hosting presentation on small business grants, funding

The Moorestown Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) is pleased to announce a special presentation dedicated to connecting local small business owners with vital financial resources. The event, titled “Navigating Small Business Grants & Programs,” will take place at Moorestown Town Hall Council Chambers on Wednesday, Jan. 21, at 6 p.m.

As small businesses continue to navigate a shifting economic landscape, access to capital remains a top priority. This presentation will feature expert representatives from three leading economic organizations who will guide attendees through the application processes for current state and regional grant programs.

Featured speakers include:

  • Jabari Adams, Small Business Liaison, New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA)
    • Topic: Overview of state-level grants, loans and tax credit programs designed to support small enterprises.
  • Jiao Xu, Program Manager, LAEDA Business Services Center
    • Topic: Guidance on business services and development programs available through the Latin American Economic Development Association.
  • Akeel Gaines, Ed. D., Regional Director, NJSBDC at Rutgers University-Camden
    • Topic: Resources provided by the New Jersey Small Business Development Centers, including counseling and training for business growth.

The Moorestown Economic Development Advisory Committee serves as a bridge between the township and the business community. The committee is dedicated to attracting new investments, supporting existing businesses and fostering a vibrant economic climate in Moorestown.
