Mayor David Mayer and the township council host the annual MLK Day of Service. The event will honor King’s legacy by giving back through meaningful volunteer activities. It will take place at Charles W. Lewis Middle School from 8:30 a.m. to noon. For more information, visit glotwp.com

Gloucester Township’s 29th annual scholarship run takes place at the senior citizens building, 1261 Chews Landing Road in Blackwood. Proceeds will fund college scholarships for township high-school students. Visit www.GTDSC.org or email omercado@verizon.net
