Voters in Medford either went to the polls early, voted on Election Day on Nov. 4, or mailed in votes to elect members for council and for school board.
Medford council
Three Democrats and three Republicans vied for three, three-year term seats on council.
Republican candidates Thomas Juliano, Michelle Voorhees and Angela Zografos faced Democratic candidates Raymond Coxe, Jatinder Singh and Katherine Santamore. All six candidates were seeking their first terms.
There were 36,793 votes cast. Santamore received the most votes with 6,198, followed by Voorhees with 6,197 and Coxe with 6,134 for the three seats.
Juliano received, 6,100 votes, Singh received 6,086 and Zografos received 6,038 in their losing bids.
There were 20 write-in votes.
Medford Township Board of Education
Six candidates – three of them incumbents – vied for three seats on the school board.
Lauren Caffery, Michael Etter and Kristin Sinclair sought reelection, while Bruno Berenato, Brett Beyer and Theodore Hilke sought first terms.
There were 27,787 votes cast. Caffery received the most votes, with 5,953, followed by Sinclair with 5,484 votes and Etter with 5,159 for their reelection bids.
Berenato received 4,395 votes, Beyer received 3,764 and Hilke received 2,751 in their losing bids.
There were 141 write-in votes.
Lenape Regional High School Board of Education
Two candidates vied for one seat to represent Medford on the 11-member Lenape Regional High School Board of Education.
There are two board members representing the township. Incumbent Jennifer Levas faced Amanda Fitchett for the three-year term seat.
There were 10,165 votes cast. Fitchett received 6,600 votes and Levas 3,433.
There were 66 write-in votes.
