The police department held its first breakfast on Nov. 21 at the Elks Lodge, where active and retired officers shared experiences and a meal. “We’ve been blessed with so many amazing officers over the past decades,” the department said on social media. “This event gave us a chance to remember those who are no longer with us and reminisce about a career working for the best residents and stakeholders in the nation.”
