State Sen. Troy Singleton and the Burlington County Commissioners are giving away 600 new winter coats for kids on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Emergency Services Building in Westampton.

The senator and commissioners are partnering with the nonprofit Parents Engaging Parents to distribute the coats, for which children must be present. Supplies are limited and families must pre-register through the county website at www.co.burlington.nj.us.

“Thanks to our collective efforts and community-based partnerships, hundreds of children will have a new winter coat,” Singleton said. “It is vitally important that we do all that we can to ensure that children in Burlington County have the tools they need to succeed and thrive, and that includes having a coat that will keep them warm on their way to school.”
