Voters in Medford Township went to the polls on Nov. 4 and elected members for council, the board of education and the Lenape Regional High School Board of Education.
The Burlington County Clerk’s Office has posted results from the election on its website that are unofficial until a vote-counting process that could take more than a week is complete.
Vote totals do not include late mail-in and provisional ballots; they are expected to be tallied at a later date.
Medford Township Council
Three Democrats and three Republicans vied for three, three-year term seats on council.
Republican candidates Thomas Juliano, Michelle Voorhees and Angela Zografos faced Democratic candidates Raymond Coxe, Jatinder Singh and Katherine Santamore. All six candidates are seeking their first terms.
As of Nov. 5, the Republican candidates lead. Voorhees has received 6,024 votes, followed by Juliano with 5,934 and Zografos with 5,870.
Santamore has received 5,810 votes, Coxe has 5,740 and Singh has 5,697.
There are 23 write-in votes.
Medford Township Board of Education
Six candidates vied for three seats on the school board.
Lauren Caffery, Michael Etter and Kristin Sinclair were seeking reelection, while Bruno Berenato, Brett Beyer and Theodore Hilke were seeking their first terms.
As of Nov. 5, incumbent candidates lead. Caffery has received 5,704 votes, followed by Sinclair with 5,260 and Etter with 4,908.
Berenato got 4,156 votes, Beyer has 3,620 and Hilke has 2,594.
There are 161 write-in votes.
Lenape Regional High School Board of Education
Two candidates vied for one seat to represent Medford on the 11-member Lenape Regional High School Board of Education.
There are two board members representing the township. Incumbent Jennifer Levas faced Amanda Fitchett for the three-year term seat.
As of Nov. 5, Fitchett leads with 6,321 votes and Levas has 3,253.
There are 64 write-in votes.
