Moorestown’s South Valley Elementary School is on the top 20 list of best public elementary schools in New Jersey by U.S. News & World Report.

Schools that scored high in both subjects while maintaining balanced classroom sizes earned the top rankings. Researchers also adjusted results for student backgrounds to make comparisons fairer between large suburban districts and smaller city schools.

Schools this year earned praise not just for academics, but also for creative learning and student well-being. For the full list of the state’s top 20 public elementary schools, visit thedigestonline.com/new-jersey/top-20-elementary-schools-new-jersey-2026/#google_vignette.
