Tai Chi for Health:Â For ages 18 years and up. 4 to 5 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. Certified instructor Bob Stanton teaches tai chi, a gentle exercise that can improve muscle tone, flexibility, and coordination. This class can be done seated or standing. ESL Conversation Class with NJ Literacy: Ages 18 years and up. 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. This ESL class is for upper level beginner to lower level intermediate learners. Baby Story Time: For newborns to 18 months. 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Mount Library. Join in for an a story time program designed to help babies develop early literacy skills and a love of reading. Older siblings are always welcome, however, this story time is designed for ages 0 to 18 months. Residents should not attend without a baby in the proper age range. No registration required.

Chess Club: All ages. 2 to 3 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. New and experienced players are invited to the library for a game of chess. The library staff will provide chess board but participants may bring their own. No registration required.
Sunday, Nov. 2
Mount Laurel Library Student Mock Election: For age groups 3 to 5 years, 5 to 10 years, and 10 to 13 years. 12 to 4 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. Young residents are invited to come out to the library to vote for who they think should be the mascot for the library’s Youth Services Department. Students can get a taste of what the election is like in this fun mock election to see who will represent the department. In the running are Penny the Pangolin, running for the Mammal Party; Alex the Axolotl, running for the Amphibian Party; and Laura the Lizard, running for the Reptile Party. No registration required.
Art Time: For ages 5 to 10 years. 2 to 2:45 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. Miss Susan combines art history, literature, science, and maybe even a little math. Participants will be exposed to a variety of artists, mediums, and techniques. No experience or supplies necessary to join. This is a school-aged program for grades Kindergarten and up. Move and Groove: For ages 18 months to 5 years. 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. Join in for this weekly outdoor event where participants will be able to celebrate music through rhymes, songs, and dance-alongs. This program will give kids a chance to learn new dance moves and get active. No registration required.
