The Mayor’s Committee on Addiction Awareness held its second One Life, One Night, One Community Memorial Vigil on Sept. 17 at Williamstown High School. Township officials joined Gloucester County Board of Commissioners for the night of remembrance. Recovery Advocate Richie LoRusso of Operation Rise NJSP (New Jersey State Police) introduced Monroe Township police Captain Kevin Bielski. Director at Operation Rise NJSP Michele Schreffler then welcomed Gianna Gomez, who shared a deeply moving story about the heartbreak of losing her brother and the profound sadness felt throughout her family.
