Wednesday, Oct. 8

Toddler Time: For babies and toddler. 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Join the library staff for stories, movement, and activities designed for toddlers on-the-go. This program focuses on building early literacy skills through naming colors, counting, letter recognition, and more in a fun, interactive environment. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in the fun. Toddler Time is also a place to socialize with other families and meet new friends. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.

Preschool Storytime: For ages 3 to 5 years. 11 to 11:30 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Join the library for fun stories, activities, and a craft! We focus on building early literacy skills such as recognition of the alphabet and written language, as well as oral language skills through rhymes or songs. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in the fun. Preschool Storytime is also a great place to socialize with other families and meet new friends. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.

Monday, Oct. 13

Evesham Township municipal offices and other facilities will be closed in observance of Indigenous Peoples Day.

Tuesday, Oct. 14

Stay & Play: For ages 3 to 5 years. 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited drop in for a special play time for children and their caregivers to socialize and explore. Enjoy some books, sensory toys, basketball, scavenger hunts, Duplos, crafts, and more. Stay & Play will end with a mini-dance time and bubbles. No registration required.

Ask the Master Gardener: For adults. 2 to 4 p.m. at the Evesham Library. This program is for residents who have lawn or garden questions. If possible, participants should bring a sample or take pictures of the issue. All samples must be brought in a sealable plastic bag or container. Participants should note that not all questions may not be able to be answered at the time of their visit and it may require further research by the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of the Burlington County Office staff. This event is presented by the Rutgers Master Gardeners of Burlington County. No registration required.

Bring Your Own Book: For ages 13 to 18 years. 6 to 7 p.m. at the Evesham Library. In this book group, participant bring their own book, it could be a favorite recent read, the book they’re currently reading, or their favorite book of all time. Participants are not required to have read anything each month to participate, the purpose of this event is to have fun talking about books with others. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.
