Trunk or Treat is back

Deptford will host its annual Trunk or Treat event from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the recreation center.

The event is free for township residents. Children must have a wristband to enter; they will be available for pickup at the municipal building’s park and recreation office during the week of Oct. 20.

Trunks will be hosted by the town council and municipal departments. Organizations and businesses are being sought to donate candy and decorate trunks. Applications can be found on the township’s Facebook page and can be submitted to the parks and recreation department in person or email at deptfordparksandrec@deptford-nj.org.

The deadline to register a group by Friday, Oct. 24.
