Work is scheduled to begin next week on repaving a portion of North Maple Avenue in Evesham and Mount Laurel.

Pavement milling and overlay work on the road, also known as County Route 607, is expected to begin Monday, Sept. 15. Approximately 1.5 miles will be repaved from just north of Route 70 in Evesham to the intersection with Route 616 in Mount Laurel.

The work is expected to take about three weeks to complete.

Two-way traffic will be maintained during the project by keeping one lane open in each direction. Motorists using the roads will still likely experience delays and are advised to seek alternative routes.
