Coffee with a Vet is a new gathering to give veterans a chance to connect over complimentary coffee and conversation. Held on Tuesdays, Aug. 19 and 26, 10 a.m. to noon, at the senior center, 1261 Chews Landing Road. All veterans are welcome.

Gloucester Township is calling on veterans and seniors to join its free summer pool party at the Gloucester Township pool, 59 A Monroe Drive, from 9 to 11 a.m. Light refreshments provided.

Gloucester Township Day Celebration at historic Gabreil Daveis Tavern, 500 3rd Ave., from noon to 1 p.m.
