Deptford police are seeking the community’s help in identifying two suspects in the theft of a landscaping trailer last month.

The trailer was burglarized on Warrick Avenue on July 17, according to Det. Thomas Mantici. The two suspects shown in the accompanying photos then allegedly attempted to sell the trailer’s items at a local pawn shop the following day. While the exact value of items has not been revealed, police estimate it is about $5,000.

The surveillance footage from the shop also showed a vehicle believed to be used by the suspects, a black SUV – likely a Ford Explorer – with a broken back window.

Those with information about the theft or the suspects are asked to contact Mantici by phone at (856) 845-6300, ext. 1240, or email tmantici@deptford-nj.org. Anonymous tips can be relayed to the police at (856) 853-5985 or by email tips@deptford-nj.org.
