The Rutgers Master Gardeners of Cumberland County invite you to join our bus trip to the Mt. Cuba Center, a thousand-acre botanical garden located in Hockessin, Delaware on Thursday, September 25, 2025. The trip will include a tour of Mt. Cuba’s native plant gardens with an emphasis on gardening for ecological resilience, a break for lunch and time to explore Mt. Cuba’s extensive walking trails through woods, meadow and pond area on your own. Please arrive at the rear parking lot of the Ramada Inn in Vineland by 8:50 a.m. for 9:00 a.m. departure. We will arrive at Mt. Cuba by 10:15 a.m., and tours will begin at 10:30 a.m. You may pack a lunch; coolers will be available on the bus. Or you may purchase a boxed lunch; the menu includes many choices. We will return to the bus by 2:30 p.m. and arrive back in Vineland by 3:45 p.m. Trip cost is fifty-five dollars ($55.00) per person without lunch or seventy-nine dollars ($79.00) per person with lunch.
