School supplies donations

State Sen. Troy Singleton, Burlington County Commissioners and the county sheriff’s office will collect donations of new backpacks and other school supplies for local families in need through Wednesday, Aug. 13.

Donations will be accepted at all county branch libraries, the lobbies of county government buildings and at Singleton’s legislative office, 400 North Church St., Suite 260 in Moorestown. Suggested donations must be new and include calculators, binders, paper, folders, notebooks, composition books, pencils, pencil cases, pens, crayons, markers, highlighters, erasers, binders, small hand sanitizers, lunch boxes, scissors and index cards.

Only new items will be accepted.
