Smartphone Basics: Smartphone Basics: For adults. 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to learn the basic functions of their smartphone, essential gestures for touchscreen navigation in Apple and Android and a variety of useful apps for everyday tasks and entertainment. Marlton Farmers Market: All residents. 4 to 7 p.m. at at Evesboro Downs Park (131 Evesboro-Medford Road). The 2025 season of the Marlton Farmers Market is now open and will run every Wednesday afternoon through Sept. 3. Shoppers can get ready to once again enjoy locally-sourced fruits and vegetables, baked goods, home goods, food trucks, artisan product and other great sustainable items. No registration required.

Gentle Chair Yoga: For ages 18 years and up. 4 to 5 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to relax their mind, move their body and increase their flexibility in this gentle yoga session. Using a chair for support, this class is perfect for those who tend to be stiff or have limited mobility. This program is presented by a certified yoga instructor, who has been teaching since 2013. Pride Time – Sculpt with Modeling Clay: Ages 13 to 15 years, and 16 to 18 years. 6 to 7 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Come make fun miniature creations with colorful modeling clay! This event is for LGBTQ+ teens and their allies. Registration required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.

Lizards at the Library: Ages 3 to 5 years, 6 to 9 years, and 10 to 12 years. 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invite to join this educational program as “The Lizard Guys” introduce a variety of reptiles and amphibians. One by one, they will hold each animal and explain where it is from, its diet and life expectancy while answering any other questions thrown their way. This program is presented by The Lizard Guys, featuring presenters who have been educating and entertaining crowds for over 14 years.

Crafty Scavenger Hunt – Popsicle Stick Catapult: Ages 6 to 9 years, and 10 to 12 years. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to stop by the “Children’s Area” of the library for a special scavenger hunt. There are pieces to a special craft scattered around the area. Participants must find them all to make a special project. While supplies last.

Yoga for little ones: Ages 3 to 5 years. 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to join the library staff for a children’s yoga class, where children will get to practice child-friendly poses, breathing techniques, and relaxation exercises, and enjoy some fun games and stories. Children are encouraged to try the movements on their own to help build self-confidence and body awareness. This program is presented by Jennifer Penz of Small Wonders Yoga, a certified yoga instructor of almost 10 years. Registration required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.
Summer Fun with Magic: Ages 3 to 5 years, 6 to 9 years, and 10 to 12 years. 12 to 1 p.m. at the Evesham Library. The library will be presenting a new magic show that will entertain and delight all ages. Participants should be ready for special surprises, mind-boggling feats and captivating tricks. Stories and STEM: Ages 6 to 9 years. 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to listen to a book and try a STEM challenge related to the story. This month’s challenge is based off of “How I Became a Pirate” by Melinda Long. Participants will create a boat and see how much treasure it can hold on the water. Monday Night Movies – “Pleasantville” (1998): Adults 18 years and up. 6 to 8:15 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited for an evening showing on the library’s big screen. This month, the library is celebrating “Color Our World: Summer at the Library” with a viewing of the 1998 film “Pleasantville.” Open seating starts at 5:50 p.m. and the movie will begin at 6:05.
