Pavement milling and overlay work were expected to begin Monday, June 16, on a 3.4-mile section of Sylor’s Pond Road, also known as County Route 670, from Route 537 (Monmouth Road) to the Wrightstown border. The work is expected to take about a week to complete.

During the project, westbound traffic on Saylor’s Pond Road will be maintained, but eastbound traffic will be detoured using Route 537 and Route 545 (Georgetown Road). Detour signs are in place, but motorists using the roads will likely experience delays and are advised to seek alternative routes.

Separately, work is scheduled to begin on Thursday, June 19, to repave 1.9-miles of Jacksonville-Jobstown Road, also known as County Route 670, from Route 537 (Monmouth Road) to Route 206. The work is expected to take about two weeks to complete.

Eastbound traffic on Jacksonville-Jobstown Road will be maintained during the project, but westbound traffic will be detoured using Route 537 and Route 206. Motorists using the roads will likely experience delays and are encouraged to seek alternative routes.
