Work is scheduled to start next week on repaving a portion of Pemberton-Vincentown Road in Pemberton Borough, Pemberton Township and Southampton.

Pavement milling and overlay work will begin on Tuesday, June 3, on a 1.9-mile section of the highway, also known as County Route 616, from Thomas Street in Pemberton Borough to Route 643 in Southampton. The work is expected to take about two weeks to complete.

Traffic will be maintained through the work area, but motorists using the road will likely experience delays and are advised to seek an alternative route.
