Alloy Personal Training recently celebrated the grand opening of its newest location in Moorestown, led by local resident Sagar Dalal. Alongside his wife, Narinder, and their two children, as well as their Goldendoodle, Mango, Dalal is excited to bring a personalized approach to fitness and wellness to the community.
“When people are depending on you in life, for you to be able to be there for them, you have to take care of yourself,” he said. “You can’t pour from an empty cup.”
Alloy Personal Training, at 1680 Nixon Drive in Moorestown, specializes in small-group personal training, focused specifically on the active aging population, men and women 45 and up. Alloy is not just about building physical strength, but creating stronger minds, healthier habits and better balance in every aspect of life.
“Something that is so basic to human existence is taking care of ourselves,” Dalal explained, “how we do it, the methods that we do it, and all that’s involved, it varies from person to person. But just the basic premise of, you have to take care of your body … At the end of the day, there’s no way to escape paying for good health.”
Dalal brings a wealth of experience to his newest venture. Having spent much of his career as an executive leading digital banking innovation at major global institutions such as Citi, TD and Barclays, he also successfully ran two companies in the commercial real estate sector. Now, he’s combining his corporate and entrepreneurial background with his passion for health and community building to introduce residents to a new era of personal fitness.
“I’ve always believed in the transformative power of fitness and the importance of community,” Dalal noted. “Alloy’s evidence-based training programs, personalized coaching and welcoming environment perfectly align with my values. I’m excited to offer a space where individuals can feel safe, supported and motivated to achieve lasting health results.”
The inspiration to bring Alloy to Moorestown came from a growing need Dalal recognized within the community. As people naturally lose muscle mass over time, strength training becomes critical, not just for fitness, but for continuing to enjoy normal activities like golf and pickleball, or for pursuing passions like hiking and dancing.
Dalal saw a gap in the fitness space and a need to bring a safe, supportive place where individuals could prioritize themselves, take charge of their health, stay independent and age gracefully. He is also passionate about the vital role fitness plays in supporting mental wellness, emotional balance and overall resilience.
“When I walk in and I see people training,” he pointed out. “I get such a high, because that’s what this was really all about, seeing people feeling good.”
When asked what he sells, Dalal put it simply: “I’m selling longevity and happiness.”
