Wednesday, May 28

Toddler Time: For ages 18 to 36 months. 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited for stories, movement, and activities designed for toddlers on the go. This class will focus on building early literacy skills through naming colors, counting, letter recognition, etc. in a fun and interactive environment. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in the class with toddler. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Preschool Story Time: For ages 3 to 6 years. 11 to 11:30 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Join the library staff for stories, activities, and a craft. This class focus on building early literacy skills such as recognition of the alphabet and written language, as well as oral language skills through rhymes or songs. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in the fun. Preschool Story Time is also a great place to socialize with other families and meet new friends. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Pride Time – Movie Night: For ages 13 to 15 years. 6 to 7:45 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Young residents are invited to join the library’s staff to watch Disney’s “Strange World” (2022). LGBTQ+ teens and their allies are welcomed. This film is rated PG and has a runtime of 102 minutes. No registration required.

Friday, May 30

Relay For Life of Marlton: For all residents. 5 to 10 p.m. at the Memorial Sports Complex (M2 field)  on Tuckerton Road. The annual Relay For Life of Marlton event will once again be open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m to help raise money for the American Cancer Society during this amazing event fun, games, music and more. Monday, June 2

Yoga for Little Ones: For ages 3 to 5 years. 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Join the library staff for a children’s yoga class, where kids will get to practice child-friendly poses, breathing techniques, and relaxation exercises, and enjoy some fun games and stories. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Tuesday, June 3

Start with Art: For ages 3 to 6 years. 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Join the library staff for a variety of February-themed art stations for kids to get creative. Participants should dress for the mess. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Resume Basics: For ages 18 years and up. 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Adult residents are invited to learn the components of a strong resume and practice creating and formatting their own in this class. Participants will review the types of resumes and learn how to effectively describe their experience. Required skills for this class are basic use of a computer mouse and keyboard. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

The Art of Chinese Knotting: For ages 10 to 15 years. 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Young residents are invited to learn about the traditional art of Chinese knotting and create their own piece under the guidance of an experienced artist. Residents may sign up with friends or meet new ones and see what unique works of art each other makes using this ancient technique. This program is presented by Ms. Ting, a craft teacher at Cherry Hill Huaxia Chinese School since 2018. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

LGBTQ+ Pride Month Celebration and Flag Raising: For all residents. 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Gibson House Community Center (535 East Main Street). Evesham Township is once again hosting its annual celebration and flag raising event to mark LGBTQ+ Pride Month. No registration required.
