The former Rutgers running back returned to Piscataway to walk at the school’s student-athlete graduation ceremony last recently, where he officially earned his college degree.

Along with the customary cap and gown, the Kansas City Chiefs star sported the two Super Bowl rings he earned in his first two seasons in the NFL as he received his diploma from interim athletic director Ryan Pisarri on the stage at Jersey Mike’s Arena.

Pacheco then posed with Greg Schiano, who was his head coach for the final two seasons as a Scarlet Knight.

Pacheco came to Rutgers during former head coach Chris Ash’s tenure and played in Piscataway for four seasons. He rushed for 2,442 yards on 563 carries across 44 appearances.

The Vineland native was then drafted in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Chiefs. Playing under Hall of Fame head coach Andy Reid and alongside future Hall of Fame quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Pacheco found instant success as a professional.

He helped the Chiefs reach the Super Bowl in his first three seasons in the NFL, including wins in the first two campaigns. Kansas City lost to the Philadelphia Eagles this past February.

Pacheco shined in his first Super Bowl, running for a team-high 76 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries to help Kansas City defeat the Eagles in a 38-35 instant classic in Arizona.
