The township high school continues to seek additions to the Robert and Eileen Abbott Military Hall of Honor’s Class of 2025.

The biennial induction ceremony is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, at the school Play House, known as the 11/12 auditorium.

The hall of honor was established in 2004 as a way to pay tribute to school graduates who chose to serve their country in the U.S. military. Plaques are positioned in numerical order when entering D-Hall from A-Hall.

Eligible inductees include those currently serving, veterans and vets who’ve passed on. The hall welcomes honorary members who may not be graduates but have contributed to the township community at large.

To submit a name – or a family member’s name – for induction, submit a 5×7 color photograph of the individual in uniform. Include the following on the back of the photo: the inductee’s name, year of high-school graduation, branch of service and military rank.

Forward the photo, along with a copy of honorable discharge paperwork (DD Form 214) or current military identification, to Matt Pesyna, registration office, Eileen Abbott Central Administration Building, 206 East Holly Ave. in Sewell, 08080

Digital submissions can be submitted by emailing to mpesyna@wtps.org. All submissions must be completed by Thursday, April 17, for consideration in the 2025 ceremony.
