The Mullica Hill library is teaming with local attorney Jeffrey Craig for a free presentation on the Constitution and the Bill of Rights at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 17.

Craig will discuss details of the Constitution and its origins in the 18th century. He is an attorney at the firm of Cockerill, Craig and Moore in Woodbury, whose website notes that Craig has served as a council member in that town and as both a committee member and deputy mayor of East Greenwich.

He and his firm specialize in civil litigation, criminal law, domestic litigation, products liability, personal injury – including car accidents – and employment law in state and federal courts.

Craig’s library lecture is sponsored by the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA), also a partner in the presentation. Founded in 1899, it is the largest organization of attorneys, judges and legal professionals in New Jersey.

“At the core of our mission,” states the association’s website, “is improving the lives of our members, advancing the rule of law and serving as the voice of the profession. With 85 sections and committees, the (association) allows attorneys to benefit from being part of the most wide-reaching legal association in the state, while still cultivating expertise and building networks within specialized practice areas.”

Registration for the library presentation is required and can be accessed at the GCLS website.
