Proceeds from the Cheerview Night Out, Charcuterie Board Night will go to Clearview High’s cheerleading teams.
Clearview Regional High School’s cheerleading team will host a fundraiser it is calling Cheerview Night Out, Charcuterie Board Night Out, on Friday, April 11, at 453 W Broad St. in Gibbstown.
Doors will open at 6 p.m., with board making set to begin at 7 p.m. Guests will learn how to create their own charcuterie boards and members of the junior varsity and varsity cheerleading teams will be on hand as volunteers.
“All necessary supplies will be provided, and participants will receive a step-by-step tutorial from the owner, Karen,” said cheerleading coach Meredith Sorbello. “Once complete, their boards will be shrink-wrapped for them to take home.”
In the hour before board-making begins, participants will enjoy a dinner of food provided by local eateries and shops through vendors who will represent local businesses at the event. They are Matilda Blu Boutique, Integrity Injectables and Aesthetics, Kind Hearts and Crafts and Skin City Aesthetics Studio.
“We are thrilled to have four vendors in attendance,” said Sorbello. “Additionally, we have received food donations from Raising Canes, and a few other prospects from local eateries. The cost of admission covers all food provided at the event.”
Participants must register in advance through a Google Doc that can be found on the Clearview school district’s Facebook page. Payment can be made with cash or check and sent with a Clearview cheerleader, dropped off or emailed to the main office of Clearview High or mailed to Sorbello at 625 Breakneck Road in Mullica Hill, 08062. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
“Our cheerleaders have volunteered their time to support this initiative as well,” said Sorbello. “All proceeds will go directly to our athletes, with the goal of purchasing a secondary uniform top for our varsity team this year.”
