The Bay Atlantic Federal Credit Union (BAFCU) completed its Introduction to Financial Literacy course (Money Matters) with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cumberland County youth members recently. Over five classes, the BAFCU covered topics like budgeting, savings practices, credit scores, and the basics of lending. After the classroom sessions, they finished out the course with a Financial Reality Fair that simulates real-life spending and budgeting. The club thanks the BAFCU for facilitating this program and the members for being so engaged in the program.
