The new facility replaces the long-time County Corner satellite office at the Moorestown Mall that will close permanently on Jan. 31.

The Burlington County Clerk’s Office is moving its satellite County Corner office into a larger, customer-friendly space in Mount Laurel.

The new facility will be located in the county-owned building at 1020 Briggs Road, directly off Route 38, for residents to access clerk’s office services such as passport applications and business trade-name registrations. It replaces a long-time satellite at the Moorestown Mall that will close permanently on Jan. 31. That office processed more than 14,000 passport applications and renewals last year and swore in more than 700 notaries.

The new County Corner will operate Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The county clerk’s main office at 50 Rancocas Road in Mount Holly operates Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Parking is more accessible at the relocated County Corner and residents will not have to compete with mall customers for space. The Burlington County Office on Aging will have staff at the new location on the first Monday of each month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., starting on Monday, Feb. 3, to meet with residents and answer questions about its services and other benefits for county seniors.
