SERVICE PROJECT: Spotted Lanternfly Egg Scraping. Boundary Creek Natural Resource Area. 11 a.m. Join a Park Naturalist and the USDA to scrape spotted lanternfly egg masses off trees. A special demonstration will be given by a USDA plant health safeguarding specialist. Volunteers will learn how to easily identify and destroy the eggs of this invasive species. You’ll use your newly learned skills to seek out hidden egg masses and help beat the bug. Scraping tools will be provided. This program is for ages 12 and up. Register at www.co.burlington.nj.us.

Pasta Fest will be held on Saturday, Feb. 1. Enjoy a pasta meal while supporting Moorestown’s own Boy Scout Troop 44. At $10 per person, attendees will get a choice of two sauces, meatballs or mild sausage, salad, drink and dessert. Gluten-free is available upon request. Get tickets from a Scout or show up on Feb. 1 for a 3, 4:30, or 6:00 p.m. seating at the First Methodist Church. Take out is also available.
