Stay & Play: Ages 6 years and under. 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Drop in for a special play time for children and their caregivers to socialize and explore. Enjoy some books, sensory toys, basketball, scavenger hunts, Duplos, crafts, and more. The event will end with a clean up song and bubbles. No registration required.
ELL Conversation Circle: For adults and senior citizens. 2 to 3 p.m. at the Evesham Library. This event is designed for English language learners who want to practice their language skills in a safe and supportive social space. These regular events will feature a variety of topics and activities – including introducing oneself, sharing interests, exploring traditions, and more. This event will be held in the “Activity Room.” Registration is suggested, and will open up one month before the event date at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.
Intro to Excel: For adults and senior citizens. 2 to 4 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Get started with Microsoft Excel. Students will learn the basics of Excel, from getting familiar with the interface to using pre-made templates to setting up spreadsheets with simple functions and visual styling. Alternatives to Excel as well as how to set up and maintain a personal home budget will also be covered. Required skills for this class are computer basics such as how to use of a computer mouse and keyboard.
Gentle Chair Yoga: For adults and senior citizens. 4 to 5 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Join the library staff for this gentle chair yoga class led by a certified yoga instructor. Chair yoga is a wonderful way to move the body and increase flexibility while using a chair for support. This class is perfect for those who are very stiff, have limited mobility or have minor injuries. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.
Evesham Township Council Meeting: All residents. 7 p.m. at the Evesham Township Municipal Building. The monthly meeting of the Evesham Township Council. No registration is required.
Thursday, Dec. 19
First Chapter Club for Kids: Ages 8 to 12 years. 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. The First Chapter Club for Kids is a great way to learn about a variety of books and books series. Participants will have a snack and get a sneak peak into a new book each month. After reading the first chapter (sometimes more), the class will play games or do a craft related to the book. Are you Game? Minute-to-win-it Night at Zed’s: Ages 21 years and up. 6 to 8 p.m. at Zed’s Beer, located 19 North Maple Ave. in Marlton. Adult residents are invited to come out to Zed’s Beer to enjoy a fun night of holiday themed minute-to-win-it games and tasty brews. Zed’s also have a mix of classics, as well as strategy games. Evesham Board of Education Meeting: All ages. 7:30 p.m. at Marlton Middle School. The scheduled monthly Board of Ed. meeting. No registration required to attend.

Sing-Along with Mr. Jim: Ages 2 to 6 years. 11:15 a.m. to noon at the Evesham Library. Join Mr. Jim on a fun musical adventure of silly and educational songs for kids. Featuring the guitar, ukulele, kazoo, and many percussion instruments. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.
Young Masters: 8 to 12 years. 3 to 4 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Participants will learn a little about an artist or art technique, and then create a piece of art inspired by the lesson.
