Mary Miskelly, chair of the Millville Woman’s Club (MWC) Civic Engagement and Outreach Committe, coordinated the club’s annual Thanksgiving Basket Project and provided some families with Thanksgiving meals. Club members donated turkeys, stuffing, gravy, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, desserts and much more. The Thanksgiving dinners were delivered to Eric Reissek, principal, and Bridget DeBartolomeis, security, at Silver Run School for distribution to selected families. Additional items were collected and distributed to the Hope Center for its Thanksgiving dinner. MWC expresses thanks and gratitude to the community.
