The results of the Nov. 5 election are now official after verification by the Gloucester County Board of Elections on Nov. 18.
There were open seats on the Harrison Township Committee, as well as the boards of education for Harrison Township and Clearview Regional.
The two open committee seats were uncontested. Republicans Adam Wingate and Adam Coakley secured 5,761 votes and 5,757, respectively. There were 401 write-in votes.
Six candidates vied for three positions on the Harrison board of ed. Incumbent and current board president Stacey Muscarella earned 3,505 votes, while John Cavanaugh got 3,226 and Colleen Kendrick got 3,155. Behind them were Alexis Rubino, with 3,026 votes; Trisha Dello Iacono, with 2,726; and Eric Keller with 2,626. There were 71 write-in votes.
An uncontested race for another board seat resulted in Tim Bast earning 4,552 votes. There were 136 write-ins.
An uncontested race for two open seats on the Clearview board of ed saw incumbent board member and president Scott Muscarella receive 5,261 votes and incumbent Fenu Cherian 4,711. There were 372 write-ins.
