Project Prom seeks donations

The Cherry Hill Public Library will be accepting teen formal wear donations from Monday, December 16 until Sunday, February 16, 2025 for its Project Prom event to take place Tuesday, Feb. 25 and Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025 where teens and parents can browse through and select one outfit to take home. Please bring donations to the Youth Services Desk on the Upper Level of the library. 

The only types of clothing we will accept are:

  • Cocktail dresses and gowns
  • Shawls and wraps
  • Suit jackets and vests
  • Ties and bowties
  • Dress shirts and pants
  • Cumberbunds and suspenders
  • Got extra hangers? We’ll take them!

The library will not accept any footwear, jewelry, hair accessories or purses.

All clothing should be gently used and in good condition. Please do not bring items that are falling apart or stained.
