During the Moorestown holiday parade on Dec. 7, Girl Scout Troop 20002 will collect toys from visitors for the fourth consecutive year of the Burlington County Sheriff’s Department toy drive. Last year, the Scouts collected more than 75 toys for youth in the county. Parade-goers can donate a new, unwrapped toy that will be distributed to one of the many charitable organizations in the county through the sheriff’s department.
Onlookers can also spot the Scouts at the parade; they will be dressed in Rudolph the reindeer outfits, pulling a sleigh to collect the toys.
