Rotary club will toast four service award winners

The Voorhees Breakfast Rotary Club has announced the winners of its community service awards:

  • Natalie Iliano has been named business person of the year for her dedication to local business development.
  • Michael Wharton has been named first responder of the year for his bravery and commitment to public safety.
  • Anahita Tyagi, an Eastern High School student, has been named selfless student of the year for her volunteerism and academic achievements.
  • Vanleda Tiv has been awarded the prestigious service-above-self award for her lifelong commitment to community service.

The awards dinner will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25, at Lucien’s Catering. Tickets are $95 and $735 for a table of eight. Reservations can be made by sending checks payable to the Voorhees Breakfast Rotary Club Foundation, 601 White Horse Road in Voorhees. Credit card and PayPal payments are accepted.

Program ads are available for individuals and organizations and should be submitted by Dec. 31 to voorheesbreakfastrc@gmail.com. Payments go to the above address. Sponsorships are also available through event chair Nick Colanzi at (856) 435-6200 for more details.
