MoorArts’ Art About Town exhibit is on display at Cambridge Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center.

Cambridge Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Moorestown is hosting Art About Town, an exhibit that showcases the creative work of local students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

The intergenerational community initiative at the skilled nursing facility is the result of its partnership with the nonprofit Moorestown Arts Advocacy Council (MoorArts).

“We jumped at the chance to participate as a host of this special exhibit, supporting MoorArts and helping make art more accessible to all in our Cambridge community,” said Jessica Saracen, director of community relations at Cambridge. “Our residents, their families and guests, and our staff are enjoying the opportunity to stop by our lobby, time and again, to view the student artwork. The talent and creativity at all ages is impressive.”

The all-volunteer MoorArts is dedicated to supporting the fine and performing arts in township schools and throughout the community. It has awarded more than 200 student scholarships for outstanding achievement in the arts. MoorArts’ Art About Town exhibits rotate quarterly through local businesses and public spaces.
