Haddonfield election results

Voters in Haddonfield went to the polls on Nov. 5 and voted for a new commissioner and three members of the board of education.

The Camden County Clerk’s Office has posted results from the election on its website, all of which are unofficial until a vote-counting process that could take more than a week is complete.

Vote totals as of Nov. 6 do not include late mail-in and provisional ballots; they are expected to be tallied at a later date.

Two candidates ran for one open seat on the board of commissioners. Commissioner candidate David Siedell leads receiving 4,155 votes as of Friday, Nov. 8, William C. Shanahan received 2,366.

There are a total of 42 write-in votes for commissioner.

For board of education members, three candidates vied for three open seats on the board of education, unopposed. Matt Ritter received 5,307 votes, Meg Hollingworth received 5,167 and Stephanie K. Benecchi received 5,045. There were a total of 329 write-in votes for board of education.
