Harrison Township: Election results

Voters in Harrison Township went to the polls on Nov. 5 to elect members of the Harrison Township Committee, as well as the Clearview Regional and Harrison Township School District’s Board of Education (BOE) members.

The Gloucester County Board of Elections posted the results of each race on its website. All of which are unofficial until officially verified by a vote-counting process expected to take more than a week.

All results so far are posted as of Nov. 8.

Republican candidates Adam Wingate and Thomas Coakley, who received 5,675 and 5,672 votes, respectively, ran in an uncontested race for two positions on the Harrison Township Committee. Both will be newcomers to the committee. There were 395 write-in votes.

Clearview BOE

Two, three-year term seats were open on the Clearview BOE. Incumbents Scott Muscarella secured one position with 5,182 votes, while Fenu Cherian received 4,639 votes for the other. There were 395 write-in votes.

Harrison Township School District BOE

The Harrison Township School District’s BOE had three open seats, each with three-year terms. Incumbent Stacey Muscarella received the most votes with 3,452 while non-incumbents John Cavanaugh and Colleen Kendrick received 3,181 and 3,107 votes, respectively. Incumbent Alexis Rubino got 2,985 votes, Trisha Delloiacono received 2,685 and Eric Keller received 2,588. The amount of write-in votes was 65.

A one-year term seat on the board went to Tim Bast who got 4,485 votes in an uncontested race. There were 135 write-in votes.
