Gobble Up Hunger Food Drive

No one in Washington Township or the surrounding area should be without a Thanksgiving feast.

The Washington Township middle school Interact Clubs are collecting food to supplement turkey baskets in a district wide push to support area families in need as part of their yearly Gobble Up Hunger Food Drive.

The schools are launching their yearly Gobble Up Hunger Food Drive.

Donations are running through Nov. 25.

Jars of pasta sauce and boxes of pasta are being collected at Chestnut Ridge Middle School, and Hurffville and Wedgwood Elementary schools.

Peanut butter and jelly supplies are being collected at Bunker Hill Middle School and Birches and Whitman Elementary schools.

Breakfast supplies and being collected at Orchard Valley Middle School and Thomas Jefferson and Bells Elementary schools.

Soup is being collected at the Washington Township High School.

Additionally, the Total Experience Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps families in need through food, goods and services, is providing families in need with a full Thanksgiving dinner.
