Burlington County’s Autumn Lands festival will be held at Historic Smithville Park from 1 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, and will offer seasonal foods, music, entertainment and activities for all ages. The festival is free.

Headlining this year’s festival will be the Axe Women Loggers of Maine, an all-female team of competitive logging sports athletes who will demonstrate skills such as log chopping, sawing, axe throwing and log rolling.

Visitors can also experience a Viking encampment, enjoy performances by the Autumn Winds Circus and participate in a hunt for classic movie monsters. Also be on the lookout for Beetlejuice and other ghostly characters on the Smithville grounds, including a haunted maze in the boxwoods of Smithville Mansion.

Vote for your favorite scarecrow on display along Park Avenue in Smithville, and enjoy scores of other fall activities, including pumpkin painting, leaf pressing, bonfire s’mores and more. There will also be a magic lantern show, live music, a beer garden, food trucks and more.

And don’t forget to visit the two Smithville trolls during the festival. They are two of the 19 trolls placed around Burlington County as part of the ongoing Burlington County Troll Trek public art exhibition.
