SATURDAY, Oct. 19

Day of the Dead Drop-In Craft. Moorestown Library. 9:30 a.m. For children of all ages. Visit Youth Services to make a festive banner for Dia de los Muertos, The Day of the Dead. While supplies last.

MooreKids Annual Halloween Costume Swap. Moorestown Library. 9:30 a.m. For children of all ages. MooreKids will offer a wide selection of free, gently used costumes in various children’s sizes.

Kids Chess with Scott Gorman. Moorestown Library. 10 a.m. Register under the library website’s Events and Classes tab.

Children ages 5 to 12 are welcome to join the Moorestown Library’s Inspiring Craft Day in Meeting Rooms A and B at 2 p.m. Teen volunteers will help children create crafts with breast cancer patients in mind. These crafts will be delivered to local cancer centers in goodie bags that will also be made at this event. Inspiring Life Together supports women undergoing breast cancer treatment and their families by funding and providing practical goods and services that support mental, physical and emotional needs of the individual and/or household. Silent Reading Party. Moorestown Library. 2 p.m. Join residents for a Silent Reading Party to celebrate Freedom to Read Day of Action.

Volunteer for Inspiring Craft Day. Moorestown Library. 2 p.m. The library is looking for youth volunteers ages 12 to 18 to help children create crafts with breast cancer patients in mind.
