‘Treat them like a friend’

Courtesy of Whitehall Elementary School On Tuesday, Oct. 1, Whitehall Elementary in Monroe Township invited Brooks Gibbs, a popular youth speaker, to talk about resilience for the school’s annual anti-bullying Kick Off Event. His message to students was, “Don’t get upset and treat them like a friend” when dealing with someone who is being unkind. He delivered his message with humor and real-life examples. Students and teachers alike were laughing out loud!
